Played under a light breeze and temperatures in the high 20’s, the inaugural Friday Social was an outstanding success, both on and off the course.
Ashutosh Shukla played extremely well posting a total of 39 stableford points, 19 points on the outward nine and 20 points on the inward journey, which was made even more remarkable by the fact that he failed to score any points on the easiest hole on the course, the Par3, 12th.
Second place on the day went to the most consistent golfer in the Club, Mr. Ajay Kotwal, who posted 36 stableford points and highlighted by his net eagle on the tricky 11th hole. Mr. J.I. Park waltzed his way into Third Place with 35 points and if not for a couple of scrappy holes could have featured at the pointy end of the Tournament.
The Fine Master was kept busy on the day with a multitude of on course offences, so be very careful at the next event because he has eyes everywhere.
