Despite having an indifferent day, Mr. J.I. Park & David Biddlecombe walked away with the Gross and Net honors in the October Monthly Challenge. In the Gross section Park was triumphant by 2 strokes over the evergreen Joesefa Wivou, with Gerry Gibson continuing his rapid progression by rounding out the top 3 with a gross of 83.
The Net Division was also a close affair with David Biddlecombe triumphant with a net of 68, despite scoring a 10 on the demanding Par, 5 13th hole. The minor places had to be decided on a countback with Ahmad Mustapha and Wilma Fernandes both bettering their handicap with a net score of 70, with fortune this time around favoring Ahmad.
