Mr. J.I. Park scored a scintillating subpar score of 71 to walk away victorious by a whopping 7 shots in the October Monthly Challenge. Park was a model of consistency throughout both halves, with an outward nine of level par 36, offset by an inward score of 35, with the highlight being his birdie, birdie finish.
The minor places in the gross division were filled by Gerry Gibson and Oliver Set whom both recorded gross scores of 79. Unfortunately for Oliver, Gerry just got the better of him on the inward nine by a solitary shot in the card count back.
The net division was a tight fought affair with Fady Azzam continuing his rich vein of form as he posted a fantastic score of 66 net. Like Park, Fady played extremely consistently throughout his round and his new found confidence with his short game seems to be providing the results.
Another card count back had to decide the minor places with Johan Buxman relegating Ajay Kotwal to third place as Pin winners on the day were Jihad Azzam whom found hole 8 to his likening whilst Oliver Set claimed victory on the tricky 12th hole.
