Ajay Kotwal has been somewhat quiet in recent weeks but stepped things up a gear as he triumphed in the Tourette’s weekly social with 14 stableford points.
Playing a shortened 6 hole format with hole 13 providing all players a Powerplay option certainly made things more interesting and was the catalyst for Ajay’s victory.
Ajay knew he needed something special if he were to break away from the field, and with the Powerplay option giving the player double points if they make a net birdie his mind was made up very quickly of what he needed to do.
Ajay played the hole flawlessly and was duly rewarded as his 6 point tally elevated him above Fady Azzam who finished with 13 points and who also benefited from the Powerplay option.
