Played over the two courses in Ras Al Khaimah, the 2017 RAK Summer Open has seen some wonderful scoring over the two days.
In Division A, Paul Harrison walked away smiling after surviving a card countback over Byung Jin Woo after both chaps finished on a combined tally of 74 stableford points.
Harrison and Byung both improved on their day 1 scores from Al Hamra scoring 41 and 39 points respectively, but it was Harrison’s more productive inward nine at Tower Links that saw him lift the Winner’s Trophy.
Rob Kennedy who is in a bit of form at the moment rounded out the top three with a score of 72 points and will look back at a couple of sloppy three putts keeping him from the top position.
James Littlewood found the courses to his likening as his haul of 72 stableford points was good enough to see him cross the line for the Win by 4 stableford points over Grace Chang on 68 points with a further point back to Luca Atonietti in third place.
Pin winners on the weekend were Andrea Bertinitti, Jae Woong Lee, Colin McDonald and Ashutosh Shukla. The event was supported by MMI whom provided all players with some wonderful incentives as well as providing 1 Lucky Winner a Magnum of MOET to enjoy over the Summer Months.
