Fady just loves the Back Nine

Fady Azzam’s affection for the back nine continued on May 11th when he posted yet another subpar effort of 20 stableford points to claim the win in the Thursday Tourette’s Social and add multiple victories in the month of May.

Fady uses his raw power to dominate the shorter back nine and the recent improvement in his short game is obviously starting to pay dividends, meaning the rest of us need to step up if we do not wish to keep looking at his rear.

There was a plethora of special event prizes on the day with many fine approach shots played and witnessed. Mizu was the big winner on the night in this category as he claimed the Pin on hole 12, 14 and the approach on hole 11, with Mike Sherman picking up multiple pins as well on the 16th and 17th.

We had enough players in the field to have 3 Blind Pair draws and starting in 3rd place Gary Smith & Simon Payne were drawn for a combined tally of 30 points, Robbie Cunningham and Westley Hughes  were next on 36 points  leaving Sam Dawson and Mizu in the top spot on 38 stableford points.
