Eui Yong Jeon or Dr. Jey as he is known around the Club performed brilliantly in the October Monthly Challenge posting a superb 2 under Par 70 to claim the Gross Title.
Jey started like a spirited stallion, extracting a birdie 3 from his very first hole of the day, which was to set the tone for things to come. Jey managed another birdie 3 on the 6th hole and with pars at his final 3 holes of the outward half meant he signed for a 2 under par score of 34.
Entering the back nine Jey must have thought that he would add substantially to his birdie tally as the holes are considerably shorter than the front nine, but penal if you stray from the fairways.
Unfortunately Jey he was not able to make any further gains, but he did not drop any strokes either, so with 9 straight pars to finish, which is an incredible feat in itself, he signed off for a wonderful subpar round of 70.
