Following on from his Wife’s win the previous week, Ajay Kotwal emulated her score of 18 stableford points to also walk away victorious in the weekly Social 9 hole event.
Ajay rarely misses a fairway, and on the occasion he does it is never so wide that he struggles to make a score, which is why he is consistently at the pointy end of events he enters.
His consistency with the Driver coupled with his fondness of the back nine makes him one tough cookie to crack, but the field can take some solace as his next game will see him playing from a handicap of 3 over 9 holes, so let’s see how straight he Drives it next week!!
The Longest Putt and Chip continue to roll over with the other two special events being won by some extremely talented Aussie Bloke with Anupma Kotwal upstaging Gerry Gibson to win the NTP on the 16th hole.
Blind Pairs provides the also-rans to mix it with the elite players on the day, with Mike Sherman grinning from ear to ear as he was lucky enough to be drawn with Ajay Kotwal for a combined total of 31 stableford points.
In the second draw of the night 3 pairs were tied on a combined tally of 29 stableford points with the recipients being H.H. Sheikh Fahim and Craig Mainey.
