Christopher Rahm has a golf game to much his stature, impressive as he defended his Tower Links Men’s Open Title in style with a 2 round total of 142, 2 under par.
Rahm led the way after day 1 with a 3 under par 69 that was matched by Steve Kelbrick, with Craig Vance 71 and Mike Robson 72 their nearest pursuers.
With scoring this tight it was going to be a fight to the wire in round 2, which is exactly what transpired, with Christopher scoring a 73 gross / 142 total to the 72 of Vance, / 143 total with Kelbrick unable to go lower than a 74 gross which also met he finished with a 2 round aggregate of 143.
The big mover in round 2 was Max Burrow, who steadily went about his business to post the lowest score of the day, a gross 70. Unfortunately this meant that Kelbrick was knocked out of the Top 3 overall courtesy of a card countback and also relegated Craig Vance into 3rd position.
