Bickell Breaks Through in Final

With the final honor board position up for grabs and the mercury going beyond 40 deg centigrade, it was Cavan Bickell that prevailed in a very humid and tightly fought affair. Bickel even amazed himself I think as he signed for a sensational net of 65, in what is one of the lowest scores recorded this past golfing season.

Bickel started in unspectacular fashion with a double bogey 6 to start his round, but instead of letting the oppressive heat dictate his mood he squeezed out his pony tail and hitched up his off white strides to eventually sign off for an outward half of 39, 3 over par.

The back nine, and the more finicky of the of the two halves revealed his steely determination to close out the field and immortalize himself as a multiple board winner, reeling off 7 pars and two bogeys to post a inward nine of 38 and an 18 hole total of 77/65 net to be crowned the Champion for 2015/16.

The 2015/16 season was a memorable for Bickell as he needed a semi trailer to carry away his multitude of accolades and was last seen undertaking in a multitude of celebratory poses with his Trophy’s.

Aside from Cavan, there was also some amazing scores form Mike Sherman 67 net, Jihad Azzam & Eui Yong Jeon  69 net, J.I. Park  71 net, & Ajay Kotwal 72 net, which pays testament to the quality of the course conditions and the skill level of the players considering the greens were only renovated some 9 days prior.
