With wind gusts upward of 40 km an hour, J.I. Park and Pat Mottershead reveled in the challenging conditions to win the Gross & Net Titles of the April Monthly Challenge.
Starting in the Gross Division, Mr. J.I. Park posted a score of 79 which included a solitary birdie on the 14th after he sank from some 25ft. Park as always was a model of consistency and had his trusty blade not deserted him we would have seen him score several shots lower.
In the Net Division, Pat Mottershead posted a score that is the lowest recorded in an official competition at Tower Links, 9 under Par, 63, which saw her some 4 shots clear of her nearest competitor, Craig Mainey.
