Craig Mainey and Anupma Kotwal dominated the low scoring event after matching each other’s score of 18 stableford points to claim the bragging rights heading into next week.
Both players had flashes of brilliance throughout their rounds where they could have topped 21 points, but a couple of untimely errors from both of them kept them from embarrassing the chasing pack any further.
Mr. Manchester was at it again on hole 16 to claim the Pin Prize as well as walking away with a share of the spoils in the Blind Pairs after being paired with Tater on 29 stableford points.
Anupma also had an additional reason to smile as she and Mr. Payne were also drawn on the same number which netted them enough vouchers for a Sparkling Water and a bag of Chips each.
The Longest Putt and Chip continue to elude the field with nearly 2 months having passed since anyone tasted success, but I have a funny feeling that within the next 3 weeks we are going to have a Winner in at least one of the events, so watch this space.
