Stifling humidity and lush rough could not contain Oliver Set and Wilma Bickell as they walked tall in winning their respective divisions in the September Monthly Challenge.
Set scorched around the course in 79 blows which could have been so much better had his putting not deserted him, but his determination shone through as he booked his spot in the Luckiest Ball on Earth.
Wilma Bickell was an easy winner in the net division with a score of 76 and despite slowing in the latter stages of the round she kept plugging away and was also duly rewarded with a trip to Jumeirah for the Luckiest Ball on Earth.
