Despite a long layoff through injury, Alison Muirhead has defended her Tower Links Ladies Open Title in style. Alison posted a subpar score of 70 on the testing layout with two equal halves of 35, which was made even more impressive by her thrilling finish of 3 under par on her final 3 holes.
In the net Division, Sara Engsig posted a wonderful score of 66 net to claim victory by 3 shots despite never having paid a visit to the course, so one only wonders what could happen next year if she decides to return armed with a little more course knowledge.
Runners Up in their respective divisions were Chantal El Chaib who shot a gross 77, with Jamie Roslyn Camero posting a net 69 making their trip home a little more enjoyable. Pin winners on the day were Sara Engsig on the 8th hole with Chanta El Chaib taking the spoils on the 12th hole.
