Jihad Azzam boarded the birdie train which ran express for 6 out of the 9 holes that he played in a performance that resembled a seasoned Tour Professional.
With numbers for the event reaching 31 participants, a new Tourette’s record, Azzam knew he needed something special and his haul of 22 points certainly did the trick in elevating him to the pointy end of the field.
With so many players in the field, it was only fair that the prize rundown was increased, with Robbie Cunningham and Andy Lewis benefitting as they placed second and third respectively with scores of 21 and 20 stableford points.
