Fisher Finally Finds Form

Derek Fisher played more look a seasoned Tour Professional as he scored an even Par gross of 36 to walk away as the Champion in the weekly Medal Social. Starting from hole 10, Fisher got off to a flyer with a holed bunker shot for a birdie 3 and he never looked back.

The Manager at Manchester United may what him to be present for the team talk next week as 6 straight pars were to follow before his birdie 2 on the tricky 16th saw him reach 2 under par for the round.

Unfortunately though an untimely double bogey 6 crept onto his card on the challenging 17th hole, but he quickly righted the ship with a solid par to finish to finally elevate himself to his first social win in some 8 months.

The next two places were filled by the hottest golfer in the Club right now, Mr. Jiho Park posted a net off 33, some 3 shots behind Fisher, with Social regular Mr. Robbie Cunningham scoring a net of 34 to take third place.

Pin Winners on the evening and two very fine approaches they were, with Young Nam claiming bragging rights on the 12th and Andy Lewis taking the spoils on the 16th. Andy Cormack was the recipient of the SPOON after a very lack luster net of 41, maybe one too many celebratory tipples were his undoing.
